Veronika Lajer
Veronika Lájer (1979) is an art historian and graduated Phd-Student (2012) from Budapest, Hungary. She is complating her thesis is on the "Oeuvre of Ludwig Rauscher (1845-1914)" - an important German-Hungarian architect, graphic artist and professor of 'arts and crafts'. Her thesis based on the the topics of urban art and architecture, art education, neo-renaissance and modern art history in Eastern and Western Europe.
She is also an educated communicator, specialized in radio-journalism and education. She worked as cultural program coordinator at the Ludwig Museum - Museum for Contemporary Art, Budapest (2005-2008). And she was also a curator and head of the suburb project room, LudwigInzert of the Museum (2010-2011). She is interested in intercultural; social-political and critical projects with artist in residence.
